Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement to purchase the following parts in support of the Towed Array OK 542A Tow Point Unit: OK-542 Sensor Case, P/N: 6879004, Qty. 15; OK-542 Sensor Cap, P/N: 6879005, Qty. 15; OK-452 Sensor Transducer Housing, P/N: 6879006, Qty. 10. The successful offeror shall provide parts in accordance with the technical data package and the Quality Provisions Receipt Inspection Report. This acquisition will be processed using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Delivery is to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport; Newport, RI; F.O.B. Destination. This procurement is 100% Set Aside Small Businesses. NAICS Code 332710, size standard 500 employees. Please note that the data package associated with this procurement will only be available by requesting a compact disc from the negotiator. Only offerors that have an active registration in the Joint Certification Program will be provided the compact disc. To request the data package, please send an email to both irma.s.mattei@navy.mil and andrew.j.josephs@navy.mil and include the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Telephone, E-mail address, Cage Code and JCP Number. Further details will be released upon issue of RFP N66604-10-Q-2990, which is anticipated to be on or about 5/2/11. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
