- Printer Properties Pro Software Maintenance Renewals Combined Synopsis/Solicitation IAW FAR 12.603 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written (formal) solicitation document will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation in being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ), 20062230, IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. The combined synopsis/solicitation and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-51 dated April 1, 2011. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) code is 511210 and the size standard is $25M. This procurement is being conducted pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), for other than full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which if received timely, will be considered by Customs and Border Protection, Procurement Directorate, IN. Please read and comply with all requirements for submitting a quote. Failure to comply with all instructions contained within this combined synopsis/solicitation could result in the quote being ineligible for award. It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure their quote meets all the requirements identified herein. The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a requirement for a specific "brand name" renewal for Printer Properties Pro Printer maintenance software for support on migration of current printers to Active Directory and remapping of end users to new Active Directory. Items requested are manufactured by Printer Properties Pro, LLC. J&A BRAND NAME ONLY JUSTIFICATION: The software license is being used by CBP OIT support personnel and requires ongoing upgrades to allow integration of information and continued enhancements for CBP systems. The Printer Properties Pro software licenses being renewed are critical to supporting the capability of CBP personnel to print documents from their Government workstations. This software is an engineered component of CBP network architecture. Use of any other product would cause the government additional time and cost to make it compatible. The contractor shall submit their quote on company letterhead to include the following: solicitation number, contact name, address, telephone number of the offeror, unit price, extended price, any discount terms, delivery terms, cage code, DUNS number, tax identification number, size of business, and warranty information. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. Quotes must be received not later than 2:00 pm Eastern Time, April 20, 2011 at the Customs and Border Protection, Procurement Directorate, 6650 Telecom Dr., Intech Bldg 2, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278. Prices quoted must be Firm-Fixed Price, to include shipping and handling charges based on F.O.B. Destination. Quotes received with FOB: Other than Destination will not be considered. The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items. Offerors are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to complete all representation and certifications electronically via the Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) via the ORCA website at http://orca.bpn.gov/publicsearch.aspx). If not completed online, FAR 52.212-3 shall be completed in hard copy and submitted with quote. The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (JAN 1999) applies to this acquisition. Award will be made on the basis of determining the technically acceptable offer with the lowest evaluated price which meets or exceeds the requirements. Once an offer has been determined to be technically acceptable, then the Offeror with the lowest evaluated price will be awarded the contract. If an offer is not technically acceptable it will not be considered.
