Description

Subject 20 - Ship and Marine Equipment � Sources sought for information and planning purposes from qualified and experienced sources for a contract vehicle with Firm Fixed Pricing which would provide Qty. of 15 (fifteen) SEABOTIX LBV/300-5 Remote Operated Vehicles (ROV). This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. It is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources for planning purposes to further develop an acquisition strategy, and hear from interested vendors that have the capability to support this requirement. The anticipated contract shall provide Qty. of 15 (fifteen) SEABOTIX LBV/300-5 Remote Operated Vehicles (ROV). The proposed contract is a Firm Fixed Price award and the government expects to make an award on or about June 2011. The anticipated contract will be a 100% Small Business Set A-side. For the purpose of small businesses, the NAICS Code is 334511, All Other Business Support Services, and the Size Standard is $7.5 Million. Interested businesses are encouraged to submit a capabilities statement that describes the ability to support the scope of this requirement. Please also include CAGE Code, and DUNS Number, as well as any other pertinent information. Please provide these packages by 1400 hrs EST, 03 May 2011 via email to Ms. Rita J. Dryden, FISC Norfolk, 757-443-1387, rita.dryden@navy.mil. The size limitation for emails is 5MB. File formats can be as follows: PDF, Word, Excel or Powerpoint. Files with the �.zip � extension cannot be received. Should your email correspondence exceed this limit, please submit multiple emails stating Email 1 of 3, etc. in the subject line. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. The Government will provide email confirmation of receipt of your statements. If companies do not receive an email confirmation after submitting their capabilities statement, they are urged to verify receipt telephonically.
