Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) contracting Office (90C) anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price Construction Contract for Utility Expansion of the Outer Loop, Project No. 674A4-10-218, located at the VA Medical Center, 4800 Memorial Drive, Waco, Texas. This project is for the expansion of utilities and related work to areas of the Outer Loop and South West Quadrant of the Waco Campus. Buildings affected by this work include but are not limited to Buildings 91, 92, 93, 94, and 9. Existing building will be affected by the scope of this project where reworking or installing vehicular access, site pedestrian access, or site utilities adjacent to buildings or roadways. This work will include road expansions and improvements, campus wide subsurface utility mapping/locating services, extension of campus utilities (electrical, communications, site lighting, I.T. trench conduit system) into several outer loop buildings with 20-foot stub outs, campus wide relocation /extension and upgrade of oxygen supply system, landscape upgrade or replacement as required by site utility extensions, and other services required for supporting future projects on campus. The method of procurement shall be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with Parts 14 and 36 of the FAR, with anticipated issue date on or before May 31, 2011 and proposed due date on or before June 30, 2011. This requirement is a competitive offer, set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).
