Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) contracting Office (90C) anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price Construction Contract to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business for Infrastructure Supplemental Work, Project No. 674A4-09-262, located at the VA Medical Center, 4800 Memorial Drive, Waco, Texas. The scope of this project is for the enhancement of the Outer Loop road. The work is to include parking along Outer Loop road to accommodate growing patient and workforce population, enhancement of Entrance Gate 4 and the associated entrance road to improve safety in a high truck traffic area and general accommodation of growing traffic flow to the Outer Loop and South West Quadrant, provide alternate and more direct access to buildings and parking areas to improve traffic circulation and pedestrian safety, renovate and re-grade affected landscape areas to minimize erosion and storm water drainage issues. The method of procurement shall be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with Parts 14 and 36 of the FAR, with anticipated issue date on or before May 30, 2011 and proposed due date on or before June 30, 2011. This requirement is a competitive offer, set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), under Public Law 109-461 (38 USC 8127).
