- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors to compete Base period plus 2 option periods combination of Firm-Fixed Price and Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Refuse Collection & Disposal Services at various Locations, Okinawa, Japan. The Contractor shall furnish all labor supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering and other items necessary to provide the services outlined and described in this Performance Work Statement at various locations, Okinawa, Japan. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://asia.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the AsiaNECO website for any posted changes. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OFFEROR TO CONTINUALLY VIEW THE WEBSITE FOR ANY AMENDMENTS ISSUED TO THE SOLICITATION. This procurement is intended only for local sources in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12). Local sources are those persons or entities that normally reside and are licensed to conduct business in Japan. Offers from non-local sources will not be considered under this solicitation in accordance with provisions of the U. S. Japan Status of Forces Agreement.
