Description
Project VA-256-11-RP-0424 Architectural and Engineering Services necessary to prepare complete documents consisting of specifications, drawings, and any other documents for bidding purposes and A/E construction period service to accomplish the following work: Renovate for privacy purposes approximately 10,100 gross square feet of existing inpatient wards on the second and third floors of Building 7 at the VA Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana. A complete scope of work will be provided to firms selected for solicitation. NAICS 541310 applies - size standard is $4.5 million. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All offerors must be registered in VETBIZ at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov and CCR http://www.ccr.gov under NAICS 541310. A/E selection based on the following criteria: recent specialized experience, professional capacity to accomplish work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to the project, proposed management plan, cost control, estimating effectiveness, schedule control and location of A/E firm and consultant (A/E firms must be within a 100 mile radius driving distance from 2495 Shreveport Highway, Pineville, Louisiana). This notice issued subject to availability of funds and is not a request for proposal. The estimated construction cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Interested firms should submit two copies each of current SF-330 to Attn: Lonest Bonton Jr., Contracting Officer (90C), VA Medical Center, P O Box 69004, Alexandria, LA 71306-9004 not later than 4:30 pm local time on May 2, 2011. For overnight delivery use 2495 Shreveport Highway, Bldg 5, Room 212, Pineville, LA 71360-6002.
