- Agency: General Services Administration Office: Public Buildings Service (PBS) Location: North Service Center Branch (1PSA) Request For Proposal (RFP) for Performance Based - Commercial Items Procurement for Janitorial and Maintenance Services at the United States Borders Station (USBS) in Houlton, the United States Border Patrol Headquarter (USBPSHQ) in Hodgdon, and the United States Border Station (USBS) in Orient, Maine. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code for this project is 238220, "Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors", and the size standard is $14 million. Qualified firms must be able to perform both janitorial and mechanical maintenance over a sustained period of 5 years or more. This is a follow-on requirement for the b uilding Mechanical Maintenance and Janitorial Services to be performed at the USBS in Houlton; the USBPSHQ in Hodgdon; and the USBS in Orient, Maine. The estimated cleanable square footage is 49,000 square feet. The period of performance is a base period of one year with four one-year options. The RFP will be issued on or about 05/03/11. A pre-proposal conference and site visit is scheduled for on or about 05/18/11. Award is anticipated to be on or about 08/02/11 with services starting on or about 10/01/10. The solicitation will be available to download via this website only (www.fedbizopps.gov). The offeror is responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP and associated documents.
