- Description
- PN: RIVRAY600ADCP, RIVER RAY, 600 KHZBluetooth Communications, Ocean Science Riverboat, Direction Connection cable, WinnRiver II data collection/ post processing software. OR Meets the following Salient Characteristics:1. The ADCP shall operate at a frequency of 600 kHz,2. The ADCP shall use broad band signal processing to ensure the highest quality data with minimal noise by using coded pulses to make multiple measurements of phase with a single ping, and thereby greatly increase the precision of the measurement and higher resolution per ping. This will provide the user with unmatched repeatability, and allow the user to collect data much, more quickly.3. The ADCP shall be of phased array design with one flat faced sensor to reduce turbulences around the face of the sensor.4. The ADCP shall be capable of bottom tracking to a maximum depth of 70 meters with an accuracy of+/- 0,3% of bottom velocity relative to ADCP, +/- 2 mm/s.5. The ADCP shall be capable of measuring depth from 0.3 to 70 meters with an accuracy of+/- 1% with uniform water temperature and salinity profile and a resolution of 1 mm.6. The ADCP shall have a minimum profiling range of 40cm and a maximum range of 40M.7. The ADCP shall have auto-adaptive sampling; adjusting the cell size and number of cells based on the water depth.8. The ADCP shall use internal Bluetooth communications for sending real-time wireless data to Winn River II and come standard with a 5 meter communications cable for direct connection to the River Ray.9. The ADCP shall have a DC voltage range of 10.5 to 18 VDC and be capable of >40 hours of continuous operation on a single 12V, 7 amp hours lead acid gel cell battery.10. The ADCP shall be capable of RS232 input of GPS data from most Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) GPS sensor.11. The ADCP shall come standard with a Three Hull (Trimaran) Polyethylene River Boat with compartment for battery and optional radio modems. Includes one 48-inch Polyethylene hull with electronics compartment and rear attachment inserts for additional instruments, two 44 inch outrigger polyethylene hulls with pivoting fins, crossbar, towing bridle, quick-removal River Ray instrument mount, River Ray instrument deck plate, power cable from instrument to battery in electronics compartment, power switch, fuse, through-hull data cable from instrument to 8-pin micro connector for external RF modem and safety orange in color.12. The ADCP shall come standard with a 16 mob internal loop13. The ADCP shall measure Temperature in the range of-5 Jo 45 degrees C with an accuracy of +/- 0.4 deg C and a resolution of 0.01 deg C.14. The ADCP shall have a solid state tilt sensor with a range of +/-15 degrees with an accuracy of+/- 0.5 degrees and a resolution of 0.01 degrees.15. The ADCP shall measure Temperature in the range of-5 to 45 degrees C with an accuracy of */- 0.4 deg Cand a resolution of 0.01 deg C16. The ADCP shall have a solid state compass with a range of 0 to 359.99 degrees and an accuracy of+/- 2 degrees and resolution of 0.01 degrees.
