Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classifications (Service Disable Veteran -Owned, Veteran - Owned Small Business, Women-Owned Small Business, HubZone 8(a), 8(a) HubZone, Small Business, Emerging Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business (SDB), and Large Business) relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 622210. The Small Business Size Standard is $34.5 M. Responses to this sources sought notice shall not constitute responses to the solicitation, which is not currently available. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. NO solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely the Government's discretion. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. The information received will be utilized to assist in formulating the strategy for competitive procedures. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will depend on the responses to this sources sought. Description The Department of Veteran Affairs, William Jennings Bryan Dorn Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Columbia, SC intends to award a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Firm Fixed Price contract for Radiation/Oncology Therapy services. The solicitation will be broken down into 4 (four) groups that cover eligible VA beneficiaries referred by the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center and its Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located in Anderson, Florence, Greenville, Orangeburg, Rock Hill, Spartanburg, and Sumter, South Carolina. Group I: Anderson, Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina Group II: Sumter, Orangeburg, and Columbia, South Carolina Group III: Rock Hill, South Carolina Group IV: Florence, South Carolina The Government intends to make one award per Group, but reserves the right to award more than one (1) contract per Group. The contract period will be a base period (Date of award - September 30, 2011) and four (4) one (1) year option periods. Submission requirements for responses to this sources sought synopsis " Your intent to submit a proposal for this project when it is formally advertised "Which Group you intend to submit a proposal for when it is formally advertised "Provide a copy of Central Contract Registration (CCR). Must reflect Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) commercial and Government Entity (CAGE), and Small Business Administration Certification of Small Business Type. "Name of firm with address, phone and point of contact. "Statement of Capability (SOC) stating your skills, experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. This should include documentation of past specialized experience and technical competence in fabricating similar products, up to three (3) past projects for which your firm was the prime contractor. The SCO should be more than 5 pages in length.
