Description
Sources Sought This proposed contract is being considered as a set-aside under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 561621 (Security Systems Services). The size standard for NAICS 561621 is $12.5M. The government is interested in all small businesses including (8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses that are interested in performing this requirement. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The Government will use this information in determining its small business set-aside decision. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Moreover, the Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with preparation or participation in this survey. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. The Government is conducting market research to identify, as potential sources, companies that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to competently and competitively respond to requirements to provide a full complement of support for security systems managed by the 50th Space Wing to include any security systems provided by the 50th Space Wing to associate or tenant organizations. These security systems include but are not limited to electronic sensors, telecommunications equipment, audio/video, and access control subsystems. The contract will provide; a.) Maintenance on all equipment associated with permanently or temporarily installed security control systems, to include managing computer software and database configuration. b.) Submit reports of maintenance actions. c.) Documentation of maintenance actions. d) Identify potential improvements to the system to increase performance, supportability, economy, and system longevity. e.) Quick return of system from mission failures. f). Possesses the capability to maintain security services at overseas locations. Design, install, test minor system modifications. Provide technical assistance to the Government during major system installations, modifications, and testing. The configurations of these systems are not static and evolution of these systems in size and complexity during the period of performance of this contract is anticipated. Security clearance level is U.S. Top Secret. Describe your past experience for the installation, modification, and maintenance services to support security systems to include: program name; Government or Contractor POC; description of effort (i.e., number of locations supported, number of personnel assigned, etc.); date and period of performance; cost of effort; and description of support strategy (i.e., guaranteed student, on-call, modified on-call, etc.).
