Description

Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to complete Project 619-10-414, Install Utility Metering, at CAVHAC, East Campus, 2400 Hospital Road, Tuskegee, AL 36083, in accordance with plans and specifications. Work includes, but is not limited to, installing utility metering for a complete and usable system. The estimated dollar value of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about May 6, 2011, with an estimated bid opening date of June 6, 2011. Note these dates are estimates and could be sooner or later. This procurement is a total set aside for service disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB). All businesses must be CVE certified. There will be a pre-bid walk through of the project and it is highly recommended that any contractor wishing to bid on this project attend the walk through. The pre-bid walk through time and location will be addressed in the solicitation. All solicitation packages, including drawings will be available to download from the website www.fedbizopps.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Sherri Mitchell, Contract Specialist, 2400 Hospital Road, Tuskegee, AL, 36083, or by e-mail to sherri.mitchell@va.gov. It is highly recommended that you complete the interested parties list on www.fbo.gov before downloading the solicitation. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available only at www.fbo.gov. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR WORK AT THE VA MEDICAL CENTER, TUSKEGEE, ALABAMA.
