The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source, fixed price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), with ELSAG North America, 205 - H Creek Ridge Road, Greensboro, NC 27406. The ELSAG equipment is the only equipment compatible with the FBI's low-bandwidth data transmission/ processing software. The ELSAG enhanced deployment configuration enables a low power speed radar trailer to support covert deployments within neighborhoods without the need for external power and a low power message board trailer to support covert deployments along highways or major roads without the need for external power.
