Description
This is a Request for Information (RI) only. This is not a request for proposal. There is no solicitation available at this time. The government will not pay for any information received in response to this RI, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This RI does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Vendor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. The purpose of the RI is to conduct Market Research to determine an acquisition strategy for establishing delivery of PET-CT Pharmaceuticals. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, Indiana, is conducting market research to determine if there are a sufficient number of firms capable of performing the requirement to meet full and open competition. Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center has a recurring need for PET/CT cyclotron-produced radioisotopes consisting of FDG, N13, and NaF. In particular, FDG and N13 both have a short half life. The N13 isotope must be administered within 20 minutes. Delivery must be timely to 1) support patient care and perform STAT studies on emergent patients and 2) to prevent decay which could impact the quality of the study or cancel it completely. The PET/CT radioisotopes may be required daily, twice daily and/or as needed. Submit information to Nikki.Horther@va.gov by close of business on April 26, 2011. Responses shall include 1) Company Name, 2) Address, 3) Point of Contact, 4) Phone Number, 5) Fax Number, 6) e-mail address, 7) Socioeconomic Category. This market research is for informational and planning purposes only.
