Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Statement of Work Replacement of SNG II Nitrogen Generator Building 207 Contractor is to remove current nitrogen generator and replace with a new unit. The requirement of this purchase is to replace an in-operable nitrogen generator that is used to service vital aircraft components 1.Provide submittal for new Nitrogen Generator to Contracting Officer for review and acceptance. a.New generator shall operate on 208 vac, 3phz, and 60 Hz power. Generator shall be capable of supplying 5000 psi to the current nitrogen storage unit located within the shop. Generator shall also be compatible with the shop's existing tire servicing unit, ( Bauer Model Number5871D), with no modifications to the servicing unit. b.The shop area reserved for the new generator is as follows: 96 long X 64 wide X 73 high. The dimensions do not have to be exact, but should be as close as possible to these specs. 2.Remove existing Nitrogen Generator: a. Current generator shall be properly removed by the contractor 3. Install new Nitrogen Generator: a.Using existing location, contractor shall install the new unit, meeting all of the manufacturer's installation requirements 4. Training: a.Provide factory-authorized service representative for start-up and training maintenance personnel on procedures and schedules related to start-up, shut down, troubleshooting, servicing and preventive maintenance of all replaced systems. b.Schedule training at least seven days in advance. c.Provide detailed "Maintenance Action Sheets" outlining detailed periodic maintenance required and intervals over which this maintenance shall be provided. 5. Warranty: a.Contractor shall warrant all installed equipment and system operability up to standard manufacturer's parts and service warranty or, at a minimum, a period of five years for parts and labor associated with repairs. b.The five year period shall commence on the date of start-up. c.Manufacturer's warranties that exceeds five year shall be provided for sub-components where applicable.
