Description

The United States Department of Agriculture, National Finance Center, Computer Resources Management Branch intends to make a sole source award to Sterling Commerce, located in Irving, TX for proprietary maintenance. the specific packages are:DIRECT AIX PACKAGE, DIRECT WIN PACKAGE, DIRECT OS390 CAP SERVER, DIRECT OS390 1-500 MIPS, DIRECT OS390 501-1000 MIPS, CD OS390ZSERIES MAX 50 MIPS PACK, CD OS390 SEC+(128) BIT CAP. this action is a follow-on to a previous contract award and will provide for the continued use of maintenance previously purchased. If no responses are received in seven (7) calendar days of publication of this notice, the Government will issue a purchase order. Firms who believe they can meet this requirement should provide cost information that will enable the Contracting Officer to determine if competitive action is appropriate. The anticipated date of award is May 2, 2011. The point of contact for all information is Geloria Dorsey, Contract Specialist, at the address listed above and the e-mail address listed below. An RFQ/RFP is not available. The Government anticipates receiving funds. Telephone inquiries will not be honored.
