Description

This procurement is for project P311, at Joint Base Andrews, Camp Spring, MD. MILCON Project P-311, Replace Fuel Storage & Distribution Facility at Joint Andrews Air Force Base, Camp Spring, Maryland, will remove aged pump house, pumps, and fuel transfer line and will be replaced with a new pump house, three 600GPM pumps, one stand-by pump, filter separators, PIG Launcher/receiver, 10,000 BBL of JP-8 fuel aboveground storage tank (AST), 4000 gallon product recovery tank, fire alarm, leak detection device, cathodic protection system, and 8 � fuel transfer line, utilities and site improvements. Some elements of LEED requirements have been incorporated into the design. A LEED narrative/checklist for the waiver has been submitted to NAVFAC Washington LEED coordinator. This procurement is Full & Open Competition for Construction services being acquired through the use of the one-phase selection process. This acquisition will result in a FIRM FIXED PRICE contract acquired through competitive negotiation procedures. The procurement will be conducted using source selection procedures and the award will be based on the best value to the government considering the price and non-priced factors. The Estimated Price Range is over $10,000,000 for this acquisition The solicitation will be issued Friday 6 May 2011.
