Description

Debt Recovery and Collection Services of outstanding OPIC Direct Loans (DIs) and Investment Guarantees (IGs). The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) currently administers a large portfolio of Direct Loans (DIs) and Investment Guarantees (IGs) extended directly or indirectly to private companies operating in one or more of the approximately 150 countries in which OPIC operates, to capital markets lenders guaranteed by certain foreign governments and to other foreign non-governmental entities. OPIC requires the private contractor to have extensive experience in the recovery of debt to foreign entities. The services include recovery of loan arrears, periodic reporting, management of certain types of criticized and classified assets and preparation of workout plans. The Contractor shall provide all labor, collection expenses, materials, equipment, and facilities (unless otherwise stated herein) to provide recoveries on claims that are assigned to it where the total corporate exposure is less than $10 million per transaction, disbursed under OPIC's direct loan program and investment funds program. OPIC personnel will monitor the activities of the Contractor and the Contractor shall make reports to OPIC in a form and frequency acceptable to OPIC.
