- Description
- The 934th Airlift Wing will be soliciting for Project #QJKL 05-0340, Repair Officer's Club Parking Lot located south of the MSP Airport (Highway 5 and Post Road). Work to be performed within NAICS code: 237310 size standard $33.5 Million. Work to include (but is not limited to) demolition of existing pavements, construct a new 225-vehicle bituminous concrete parking lot and access roads, earthwork, provide storm drainage, landscaping and exterior site lighting. Location will be at the Fort Snelling Officer's Club (Bldg 395) on Highway 5 and Post Road, south of the MSP Intl Airport, Minneapolis MN. Performance period is 120 days after NTP. A Request for Proposal (RFP) is comtemplated utilizing best value source selection procedures as described in FAR 15.3, AFFARS 5315, and MP5315.3. In using this approach, the Government seeks to award a contract to the offeror who gives the Air Force the greatest confidence that they can meet our requirements. This acquisition is being solicited as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside, competitive RFP. The Magnitude of acquisition is between $250K and $500K. Offers are solicited from SDVOSB only. A single, firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. The offerors proposal must convey to the Government that the offeror is capable, possess sufficient technical expertise and experience, possess sufficient resources, is able to plan, organize and use those resources in a coordinated and timely manner such that the technical requirements shall be achieved and costs shall be controlled. All SDVOSB businesses may submit a proposal, which will be evaluated as per the criteria identified in the RFP. The solicitation will be available via electronic means only, on or about 04 May 2011 with a 30 day response time after issuance. The entire solicitation will be posted at this website https://www.fbo.gov or a CD-Rom containing the entire solicitation will be available by written request to the Contract Specialist identified herein. Telephone requests will not be honored. Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office upon coordination with the assigned Contract Specialist. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database to be eligible to receive award http://www.ccr.gov and have completed the On-line Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov. A planholders list will not be maintained, interested vendors should sign up for this solicitation number under the "Interested Vendor" tab to receive notices regarding this RFP.
