Building 3 Imaging Suite & Lab, Project No. 542-09-120 The VA Medical Center in Coatesville, PA is seeking professional A/E services for the complete working drawings, cost estimate, technical reports, specifications and construction period services for the installation of an Imaging Suite and Lab in Building 3 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, Project No. 542-09-120. The AE shall review the program materials furnished by the VA and all prior submissions to ascertain the requirements of the phases of the work and shall prepare Design Development Documents of the highest professional quality within the firm ™s capability illustrating the scale and relationship of project components for review and approval by VA. The consultant shall provide all architectural and engineering services as defined to accomplish complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates for the following work: The design of this project involves the renovation of building 3 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. The building is going to be used for numerous outpatient services such as radiology, urgent care, laboratory, morgue, podiatry, optometry, urology, infectious disease, neurosurgery, geriatrics and dementia, compensation and pension. With the exception of approximately 12 percent occupied space, building 3 currently is essentially an empty shell. A/E services to include: site investigation and design development; working drawings & specifications; cost estimates; construction period services; site visits; and IH services. A/E will provide 50% design submission, 90% design submission, and final submission. The work shall meet all applicable VA design criteria and construction standards. The estimated construction budget is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The area of consideration for this acquisition is restricted to firms within a 250 mile radius of the VA Medical Center in Coatesville. Interested firms must submit two (2) copies of SF330 with appropriate documentation to Contracting Officer 542/90C, VAMC, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320 by close of business, May 23, 2011. NAICS 541310 applies. This is not a request for proposals. This procurement is set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. All interested firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and must be verified by the Center for Veterans Enterprises (CVE) on VetBiz Vendor Information Pages at www.vetbiz.gov as a SDVOSB firm.
