Description

Solicitation No. VA-245-11-IB-0099. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to replace three roll-up garage bay automatic doors at the fire station, and three roll-up automatic doors at the warehouse, located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 510 Butler Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25405. This procurement is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The work includes, but is not limited to, the removal, and replacement of existing roll-up doors with new roll-up doors, running conduit and wiring controls. Estimated construction cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS Code 236220 small business size standard $33.5 million. The offeror shall obtain any and all necessary licenses or permits required to perform this work in the State of WV. Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the following websites: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, http://www.ccr.gov, and https://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. The project duration is expected to be 90 calendar days from the date of receipt of the notice to proceed. Prospective contractors may acquire solicitation documents, which are only available in.pdf electronic format by registering and downloading plans and specifications from the FedBizOpps website www.fbo.gov. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer (email address: George.sherrin@va.goc). Faxed or emailed proposals will NOT be accepted. Bid opening date is May 23, 2011 at 2:00PM. Procurement is subject to availability of funds.
