****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Demetrice Watson, Contracting Officer, email: demetrice.watson@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX1C0245AX; NOUN: Bell, Crank; NSN: 1680-01-106-2268; P/N: 414C1163-1, Min/Max Quantity: 40/120 each on a 3 year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Basic + 2-100% Options type contract with deliveries to Corpus Christi, TX applicable to the CH-47. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 40 each 275 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and up to 40 each year until contract completion. The First Article Test Report is due 263 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 40 and 40 each year until contract completion. This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). This requirement is restricted to: The Boeing Company (CAGE: 77272) because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation however; solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. WARNING: THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (TITLE 22, U.S.C., SEC 2751 ET SEQ.) OR EXECUTIVE ORDER 12470.
