- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE - FRESH MILK (NAICS 311511) This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice for the identification of potential vendors to provide Fresh Milk Products; i.e. such as but not limited to: Milk; Whole, 2%, 1%, Nonfat (Skim), juices, etc, with 2-3 days per week delivery schedules to Bay Pines VA Medical facility in VISN 8 (Florida). An Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) may be issued with a delivery performance period from July 1, 2011, through September 30, 2011, plus four (4) additional annual renewable option periods. The solicitation package may be available on or about May 10, 2011. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification relative to NAICS 311511. Consistent with the VA's Veterans First Contracting Program, VA is particularly interested in identifying Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and/or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses with the capability to perform. All interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below. All responses to this notice shall include: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number (www.dnb.com), list of available products, the geographical location the respondent is able to service, and a list of the respondent's establishment's certifications from private, State and/or local agencies documenting their safety and sanitary conditions and procedures. Responses to this notice should be sent via US Mail to the attention of Brenda Espinueva, Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 8 Contracting, 4300 Duhme Road, Madeira Beach, FL 33708, or email to Brenda.Espinueva@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 2:00 PM ET, Friday April 29, 2011. All contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses should also indicate whether the company is verified by the VA in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Database at www.vetbiz.gov.
