Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. Military Sealift Fleet Support Command is seeking eligible businesses for supplying equipment and shipboard military style berthing furniture for a shipboard habitability Modification for the USNS SALVOR (T-ARS 52). Due to unique style and design parameters, MSC believes that US Joiner products have the unique capabilities to satisfy these requirements for the T-ARS Ship Class. Supplies and Equipment needed include berth, double, steel (right hand/left hand), w/ type I-privacy curtains at lower bunk chest; Chest 5 drawer; Wardrobe Single 4 drawer; Light Berthing 8 watt, fluorescent; Joiner Doors (LH/RH), Stowage Container for EEBD and Chest 6 drawer; Stratica Marine Flooring; Mattresses Innerspring 76"x34 ¾"x6"; Panel Bulkhead 50MM (T) X 50MM (W), there is various other type of materials needed to complete this modification. The supplies and equipment will have to be shipped to a Ship Repair Facility located on the West Coast and on the East Coast. Repair facilities will be determined at a later date. This requirement is to be delivered to designated repair facilites by 1 july 2011. Estimated issue date of this solicitation is on/about 29 April 2011. After issuance, solicitation may be obtained on the FBO website. If you believe your company can satisfy these requirements please contact the contract specialist listed on this notice. Please provide a brief description of your companies abilities to meet this requirements. This office anticipates award of a contract no later than 15 May 2011. The appropriate NAICS Code is 332510. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. RESPONSES ARE DUE on Monday, April 25th, 2011 by 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
