Description
The VA Medical Center, 1 VA Center, Augusta, Maine is seeking potential sources OF MASONRY CONTRACTORS WITH EXPERIENCE IN RENOVATION OF HISTORICAL BUILDINGS to provide REPAIR AND UPGRADE B200/200E FAÇADE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and qualified personnel to provide the following: Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for repairing the exterior façade & roofs of B200 & B200E as required by drawings and specifications. ITEM I, GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Work includes all general construction, alterations, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items as called out for in the project drawings and specifications; DEDUCT ALTERNATE NO. 1: EPDM Roof Patching; DEDUCT ALTERNATE NO. 2: PVC Roof Patching; DEDUCT ALTERNATE NO. 3: Elastomeric Coating; DEDUCT ALTERNATE NO. 4: Brick Repointing and Cleaning. The applicable NAICS Code is 238140 Masonry, with a size standard of $14 Million. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company/provider; business size; socio-economic category, if any; if services are on a Federal Supply Schedule; firm ™s experience in providing façade masonry projects of a large size and scope (greater than $4 million) which demonstrates firm ™s ability to meet the above requirement, in strict accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
