Description
The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has a requirement for Engineering Test Analysis Interoperability Analysis services in support of MDA Directorate of Engineering Test Analysis (DEJ). In conjunction with other MDA civilian, military, and contract team members, contractors conduct Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) test analysis and reporting in support of the MDA/DEJ Director and assigned Joint Analysis Team (JAT) Leads. The contractor's analysis workforce will be assigned to test specific JATs to provide analytical products in support of JAT product development and delivery to senior leadership. The contractor shall provide analytical Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the discipline of BMDS interoperability. The special capabilities and disciplines needed for contract performance shall include technical knowledge in: pre-mission planning; test objective coordination; and interoperability analysis. Primary locations of permanent operations are Colorado Springs (COS), CO and Huntsville (HSV), AL. A competitive 8(a) solicitation for this effort is anticipated to be released and posted to this site on or about 13 May 2011. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be posted to this site. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to monitor and access this website for the solicitation and any amendments that may be issued. Amendments may be issued up until the proposal due date. Failure to acknowledge amendments may render your proposal ineligible for award. There is no incumbent contractor being considered for this effort. The current contractor, RNB Technologies, Inc. of Stafford, VA, has graduated from the 8(a) program and is not eligible for award. Note: All questions concerning this requirement must be directed in writing via email to Kathryn Elliott, Contract Specialist, at kathryn.elliott.ctr@mda.mil. No questions or inquiries regarding this pre-solicitation notice will be accepted by telephone or fax. Potential offerors are encouraged to hold their questions until they have reviewed the forthcoming solicitation. The distribution of the resulting solicitation will be accomplished solely through the FedBizOpps website http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available.
