Description

Repair ICU Chiller Piping and Controls Project 565-11-111 VISN 6 CAS will issue on or about June 27, 2011, RFP VA-246-11-RP-0227, Repair ICU Chiller Piping and Controls (Design/Build). Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, qualified supervision, and design services to perform work for project 565-11-111. Work includes, but is not limited to, preparation of construction documents, specifications, and detailed cost estimate and upon acceptance of said design, provision of services to provide and install materials/equipment to complete construction to for Project 565-11-111. This scope of work for the project consists of re-piping the ICU Chiller and Air Handling Unit #14 located on the roof of Building 1, D-Wing. All work, including final cleanup and completion of all punchlist items, shall be performed within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The government will not accept a shorter schedule. The government anticipates award without discussions. NAICS 238220 “ Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a small business size standard of $14M applies to this procurement. The procurement is set-aside to qualified service-disabled, veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB). Offers from other than SDVOSB firms shall not be accepted. A pre-proposal conference will be held approximately two weeks after the issuance of the solicitation. The exact date, time, and location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation. There will be no public opening of the proposals.
