Description
***This is NOT a Request for Proposal.*** The contractor shall furnish equipment, supplies, and fully trained managerial, supervisory, technical, administrative, clerical, and direct labor personnel sufficient in number and qualification to provide security guard services for the 834th Transportation Battalion, 410 Norman Avenue, Concord Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO), California 94520-1142. Duty hours will be 24 hours seven days a week to include Federal Holidays. The contractor shall provide Security guards with a minimum of a secret clearance. Contractor personnel shall be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. The contractor shall have the capability to patrol the installation, which is approximately 4596 acres. Contractor personnel will be responsible for approximately five miles of shoreline and twelve miles of land perimeter to patrol. The Government will NOT provide vehicles to contractor personnel to perform perimeter patrols and the Contractor will be responsible for obtaining vehicles. The Government will provide boats to contractor personnel to perform shoreline patrol and the Contractor will NOT be responsible for obtaining boats. Specific task areas are: Task Area 1: The contract security guards shall maintain a log of all vehicles and personnel entering and leaving the security station, as required by MOTCO standard operating procedures Task Area 2: Contract security guards shall properly implement all installation access control policies and procedures to verify the identification of all persons entering installations. Assess all vehicles for threats to the installation. Do NOT submit quotes or proposals for this requirement. This Sources Sought Notice is NOT to be treated as a Request for Proposal.
