The purpose of this contract is to provide Building Automation System (BAS) and Advanced Metering System (AMS) Tridium Niagara Ax® network web-based system maintenance at 84 GSA Region 7 sites. The area of responsibility of the BAS/AMS Maintenance Contract begins at the building-level Java Application Control Engine (JACE) Niagara network-level supervisory controllers. Maintenance of the network communication lines (DTS or T-1) connecting the buildings to the servers, are the responsibility of GSA. Within this contract, a high level of partnership between the onsite O&M Contractors, the GSA Information Technology office in Washington, D.C., and the GSA Region 7 BAS/AMS Program Manager will occur, to isolate, troubleshoot, and repair communication line problems between the buildings and the servers. The BAS/AMS Maintenance Contractor shall report to GSA on the status of performed point continuity checks by checking point continuity between the building level JACE(s) and the following servers; the BAS Ax Web Supervisor Server, the AMS R2 and Ax Web Supervisor Servers, and the AMS Microsoft SQL backend server, which is used to store long-term trending of AMS point data. Point Continuity checks and reporting shall be accomplished on all 84 sites once monthly. Site point continuity surveys and reports shall be staggered with 25 percent or twenty-one sites looked at weekly. Issues that are identified by the BAS/AMS Maintenance Contractor shall be isolated by troubleshooting while performing the necessary repairs by coordination with GSA IT technical work groups and/or the on-site GSA Operations and Maintenance contractor
