Attachment 1: S.O.W for Exterior Illuminated Sign Jordan, UT This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items to be prepared in accordance with the format in sub-part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation. Solicitation is issued as a set aside for Small Business, the north American Industry Classifications System Code (NAICS) is 339950 Sign Manufacturing. The Contract will be awarded under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and will be based upon Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Description Of Work: The U.S. Marines Recruiting Office for Utah has a requirement to purchase the following: a. Provide and install an illuminated exterior sign on rear exterior fascia of the Marines space. The sign copy and dimensions shall be identical to the Marines storefront fascia sign. See Attachment 1 Scope Of Work Jordan, UT. "MARINES" lettering to be black reversed pan channel letters Halo illuminated white at night. Eagle, Globe and Anchor cabinet to be painted satin black with white interior, with translucent silver faces that light up white at night with opaque, light-locking black background. b. Sign cabinet and pan channel letters to be mounted to the building. c. Provide power source to the sign from building interior. d. Provide and install a dusk-to-dawn sensor. e. Work is to include all permits and licenses. f. See Attachment 2, Picture of Exterior Illuminated Sign.. General Requirements: a. All work must be performed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. b. A representative of the U.S. Marines must be present while work is being performed. c. Site visits for quote preparation and for performance of work must be scheduled in advance. Must be a registered contractor. f. Contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, equipment, and material needed to provide and Install the U.S. Marines Recruiting Sign at Jordan Landing Plaza, West Jordan, UT. The overall responsibility of the Contractor is to plan, coordinate, organize, manage, and perform the activities described within this contract in accordance with the performance objectives. g.
