- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for 100% small business. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 334516, size standard: 500 employees. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2KBAD1087A003 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-51 effective 1 April 2011. The Government intends to award one (1) contract with one (1) contract line item (CLIN) for the following requirement at Kirtland Air Force Base, NM. FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION. 1. (CLIN 0001) - Nano TRL 250-100 pulsed Nd: YAG laser system with second and third harmonic generation and separation optics. General Features: Output energies up to 850mj, Repetitions up to 200Hz, Twin-rod architecture for birefringence compensation, Rugged industrial design. Applications include: PIV, OPO pumping, TI:S pumping, Dye laser pumping, Deflashing, Cleaning, Spectroscopy, LIBS. (Qty 1 each) The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items. In accordance with the FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of price. Offeror will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2.
