- The US Army Corps of Engineers - Army Geospatial Center (AGC) has a requirement for Geospatial, Research, Integration, Development and Support (GRIDS) II services, as required, in support of the AGC mission. AGC coordinates, integrates, and synchronizes geospatial information requirements and standards across the Army, as well as develops and fields geospatial enterprise-enabled systems and capabilities to the Army and DoD. The anticipated North American Industry Classification Systems Codes (NAICS) for this requirement is 541512. The business size standard is $25.0M. Your response should identify your business size (large or small) in relation to this NAICS code. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be unclassified. The Government intends to award a minimum of two (2) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts to satisfy the requirements listed below. The resulting contracts will contain a base period of one (1) year and four (4), one (1) year options. The maximum value of all contracts awarded under the small business set-aside portion is $48.5M over the five year period. A minimum order of $10,000 will be guaranteed to each contract. Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and/or Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task orders will be issued under these contracts. Task Orders will include limited production and fielding of specified items for critical requirements and field support for CONUS and OCONUS as well as support in a war zone. Interested contractors must have the capabilities and execute the following: 1)Identify and address gaps in geospatial science and technologies 2)Develop geospatial services and web enabled architectures 3)Examine and evaluate technologies and tools from Government, Academia, and Industry including, but not limited to C/JMTK and C4ISR tools 4)Identify the utility and implementation shortfalls of policy and procedures from various Military Commands 5)Provide interoperable solutions to Army, other Services and other military systems (both Coalition and Joint) 6)Develop, populate, manage, and integrate databases 7)Provide Biometric tools, applications, technologies, techniques and procedures 8)Provide database development, management, and experience The request for Proposal (RFP) release date is anticipated to be on or about 20 June 2011. The solicitation will be available on the http:/fedbizopps.gov/ web site for download. The RFP will be released by the AGC CONTRACTING OFFICE, ALEXANDRIA, VA.
