- Market Survey and Public Announcement- Video Teleconferencing In accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1, the FAA is conducting a market survey to determine the competition level for its video teleconferencing (VTC) needs. VTC includes hardware, related software, maintenance and help desk services. A DRAFT statement of work (SOW) for this requirement is attached. This announcement is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their qualifications and capabilities to meet requirements in the attached draft SOW. Depending on the outcome of this market survey, the FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) program. The NAICS code for this effort is 517911 Telecommunications Resellers and the size standard is 1,500 employees. Vendors must complete the attached Business Declaration Form and return with your submission. Please provide a capabilities statement that demonstrates experience in the area of VTC and VTC support in accordance with the attached draft SOW. Please include reference to contracts you currently have, or have had in the past three (3) years, of similar size and scope and provide the following information for each: a.Agency b.Period of Performancec.Contract dollar valued.Point of contact with phone numbere.Description of products and services provided Only vendors who submit a package in response to this announcement will be permitted to submit a proposal. In addition, only vendors who are able to provide the equipment and the maintenance for the equipment will be considered for award. Potential sources are cautioned that no further announcements may be made if a competitive small business set-aside is accomplished.
