Description

This amendment changes the anticipated release date of the solicitation. The new date is on or about May 20, 2011. The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System intends to issue a solicitation for Full Length Flatwalls and Horizontal Headwalls to be located on the 1st floor of the new clinical addition, 400 Veterans Avenue, Biloxi, Mississippi. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, tools, equipment, and other necessary materials and services, to perform complete installation of the Flatwalls and Headwalls. This procurement will be conducted as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. Only offers from SDVOSB concerns will be considered for award. Offerors may be required to provide information to demonstrate that at least 50 percent of the cost of personnel for contract performance will be spent for employees of the SDVOSB concern or employees of other SDVOSB concerns. SDVOSB concerns must be registered in the Vet Biz Registry and the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). To be considered for award, SDVOSB concerns must be registered in the Vet Biz Registry as a SDVOSB and have obtained the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) Verification Icon/Seal. Information on the Central Contractor Registry can be found at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx. Information on the Vet Biz Registry can be found at http://vip.vetbiz.gov/. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339113, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This is a pre-solicitation notice only; it is not a request for quotation. No further documents are available at this time. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is on or about May 20, 2011.
