These support services will require the Contractor to utilize multiple skill sets that are required by professionals in the workforce and unique to VA. In accordance with Public Law (PL) 109-461 and Veteran Administration Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7007, VA intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Rividium Incorporated, 7663 Coppermine Drive, Suite 7615, Manassas, VA 20109 per 10 U.S.C. 2304 ©(5) Authorized or Required by Statute as implemented by FAR 6.302-5. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561330 and the size standard is $13.5 million. This office anticipated the award date to be May 13, 2011. This sole source contract will function as a bridge contract to allow for a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside competition for a Multiple Award Task Order Contract for these same services. The basis of restricting competition is to allow ample time to compete this requirement sufficiently. The period of performance will consist of a base period of six (6) months and two (2) six (6) months option periods with performance beginning on May 16, 2011. This Notice of Intent is not a solicitation or request for competitive quotations. Since this is a sole source acquisition, no solicitation will be posted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which may be considered by the agency. To be considered a responsible source, the offeror must be a certified Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business Sole Source. Place of Contract Performance: Washington DC.
