Description
CSC Applied Technologies LLC (CSC) is contemplating the issue of solicitation IFB149B for XTLF 10-1023, Repair UOQ Fire Detection F641 - F645 as a Small Business (SB) set aside. Offerors should consider the impact to their bonding capacity when considering bidding on this solicitation. Funds are expected for the contemplated solicitation but are not promised or guaranteed. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government or CSC should funding not be provided. In the absence of funding no contract will result. Should funds be provided, to be considered for award of this project a contractor must have satisfactory previous experience in the types of work contained in this solicitation and have a successful track record performing the types of work contained in the project. The project consists of the following: This contract is to replace existing fire detection and alarming devices with digital addressable devices and add fire alarm circuit isolation devices that are compatible with the existing Notifier NFS320/E/C facility Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP). Included is replacing the fire alarm Signaling Line Circuit (SLC), and making raceway modifications as required. This contract shall also patch and paint ceilings and walls that are damaged. Included in this work is the re-programming of each facilities FACP, replacing facility Monaco radio transmitter/receiver panels to accept additional points, and arranging for the base Supervisory Stations to have the additional alarm points appear, with the ability to successively point the screen curser, and click the computer mouse to display alarms to the room level of the alarm. Also included is verifying all alarms are received properly at the FACP and the Supervisory Stations. The Contractor will be allowed to work on and complete only one existing zone of one facility at a time. The fire alarm system shall be tested as each days work is completed, and as each facility is completed a full facility fire alarm test shall be successfully completed, prior to moving to the next facility. Magnitude $100K - $500K Estimated Solicitation Issue Date: May 11, 2011 Once issued, please refer to the Solicitation Documents Folder of the solicitation download in the file "Solicitation Offer and Award" to confirm the following dates Pre-Bid, May 31, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Vance AFB, OK meeting will begin in Building 200 Conference Room 123. Bid Opening, June 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. to be held at Building 200 Conference Room 123. Both above dates are subject to change. Please verify prior to dates shown to assure the scheduled events will occur as stated here. Please note: All interested persons wishing to attend the, non-mandatory but highly recommended, Pre-Bid Meeting to be held at Vance AFB must provide the following information a minimum of five (5) days prior to the Pre-Bid Meeting. Anyone planning to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting must provide the individuals name as it appears on their Driver's License, Driver's License Number, Driver's License State of Issue and last six digits of their Social Security Number. Provide all of above via E-mail to rick.murrow.ctr@vance.af.mil. The day prior to the Pre-Bid is a Federal Holiday and no one will be in the office to take information that date. It is important that information be provided no later than the Thursday of the week prior to the Pre-bid meeting date.
