- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) awarded a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-11-G-0001 to The Boeing Company (Boeing), 6200 JS McDonnell Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63166 on an other than full and open competition basis to allow for the F/A 18 E/F Service Life Assessment Program (SLAP) - Subsystems, Phase B effort. A sole source acquisition, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, 'Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements' was used for this procurement. Boeing is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the F/A 18 aircraft, and therefore is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data that can meet the Government's requirements on a timely basis.
