The purpose of this Request for Offers is to seek competent and qualified contractors to perform all work associated with carpeting in the first floor of the Automation Wing and installing carpeting in the Control Wing at the Seattle Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located at 3101 Auburn Way, South, Auburn, Washington. Magnitude of construction is from $50,000 - $150,000 This project is set-aside for competition exclusively amongst SEDB/8(a) contractors as certified with the Small Business Administration. The NAICS Code for this project is 238330. The Small Business Administration Size Standard for NAICS Code is $14.0 million. All work must be coordinated in order to maintain an operational facility. The total contract duration for completion of all work shall be 21 calendar days. The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to the following: - This project will replace all the carpeting in the first floor of the Automation Wing. The Contractor will supply and install this carpeting and rubber base. The Contractor will then install Government furnished carpet tiles for the Control Wing and supply and install rubber base. There are existing electronic equipment, office & systems furniture as well as office panel partitions located throughout the project. It is the carpet installer's responsibility to move or lift all existing obstacles in order to install the carpeting. Solicitation Questions: All contractors proposing this project desiring an interpretation or clarification of thespecifications, drawings, contract terms and conditions, etc., must make the request by e-mail to Matthew Benbow atmatt.benbow@faa.gov. Alternately, you may fax your written questions to (425) 227-1055. Telephone questions will not be accepted. The requestor shall provide a company name, point-of-contact name, address and telephone number; as well as a return e-mail address or FAX number. The Contracting Officer is the only person authorized to make clarifications, interpretations, or changes to this solicitation. QUESTIONS ARE DUE by: MAY 9, 2011. There is an optional site visit. a. The FAA facility escort has been instructed not to answer any questions about the project during the site visit, please do not ask them any. All questions from the site visit must be submitted in writing according to the RFO's instructions in Section B, Clause B004 Solicitation Questions (above). b.
