Description
Equipment and Parts List Statement of Work Notice of Intend to Award Sole Source to SDVOSB References: FAR 5.203(a) Publicizing and response time. FAR 6.302-5(b) Sole source awards under the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. 657f). The 647th Contracting Squadron intend to award a new Sole Source Purchase Order to Concert Architecture Interiors, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern company, to provide and install Spacesaver (brand name) high density mobile systems and universal weapon racks located at Eielson AFB, AK, OSAN AB, South Korea, Yokota AB, Japan, JBPHH (Hickam), HI, SFS armory and warehouse facilities. A brand name justification and approval for Spacesaver brand name has been approved for this requirement because of existing equipment configuration attachment and connection to new equipment and parts. Also, existing Spacesaver brand equipment and parts' warranties will be voided by Spacesaver Storage Inc. if another brand equipment and parts are attached and connected to them. The new requirement will have to be added or stacked together with existing equipment and parts because of limited space on the designated locations. Interested party who are service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. A determination not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the contracting officer's discretion. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement among small business concerns owned and controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans. See attached Scope of Work and equipment/parts list (not inclusive).
