- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being solicited and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912L7-11-T-0017 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-51. The Tennessee Army National Guard has the following requirements: This requirement is being advertised as a small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 722320 with a Small Business Size Standard of seven million dollars ($7,000,000.00) per year. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this Agency. The following clauses are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5 (Dev) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items (JUN 2006) (Deviation) and DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms, Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (JUL 2006) (Deviation). Quotes are due in this office no later than 3 May 2011, close of business four thirty (4:30) p.m. local central daylight savings time. Offers will be evaluated using the evaluation criteria outlined in FAR 13. All meals shall be served in building 2833 of the Volunteer Training Site, 400 Industrial Boulevard, Tullahoma, TN 37388. The vendor shall prepare the food off site and deliver the food to the designated building. The Government will not furnish any equipment or facilities for the preparation of the food. Vendor shall also provide single service items, disposable plates, cups, flatware and condiments for the meal. The award will be made to the vendor whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government. The evaluated non-cost factors for this acquisition shall be meeting the menu choices outlined for the meals. Past Performance will not be an evaluation factor in this acquisition. The following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) are as follows: 0001 A total of seven hundred and five (705) Breakfast meals for the period of July 8, 2011 to July 10, 2011. The number of Breakfast meals served each day is listed below. Breakfast meals shall consist of at least three menus offering a selection of one (1) meat, two (2) eggs, biscuits with gravy or pancakes with syrup, one (1) serving of orange or grape juice, one half (1/2) pint of milk and one (1) serving of coffee. The vendor shall provide a different menu each day Meals shall be served in building 2833 of the Volunteer Training Site, 400 Industrial Boulevard, Tullahoma, TN 37388. Vendor shall have the food available no later than 6:00 AM local time each day and food shall remain available until 7:00 AM local time every day. Friday, July 8, 2011 quantity 235 Saturday, July 9, 2011 quantity 235 Sunday, July 10, 2011 quantity 235 TOTAL 705 0002 A total of seven hundred and five (705) Dinner meals for the period of July 7, 2011 to July 9, 2011. The number of Dinner meals served each day is listed below. Dinner meals shall consist of at least three (03) menus offering a selection of one (1) serving of meat, two (2) servings of vegetables, one (1) serving of bread, one (1) serving of desert and one (1) serving of tea, coffee or soda as a beverage. Each serving of meat shall be a minimum of six (6) ounces, each serving of drinks shall be a minimum of eight (8) ounces, and all other servings shall be a minimum of four (4) ounces. The vendor shall provide a different menu each day.; Meals shall be served in building 2833 of the Volunteer Training Site, 400 Industrial Boulevard, Tullahoma, TN 37388. The number of Breakfast meals served each day is listed below. Breakfast meals shall consist of at least three (3) menus offering a selection of one (1) meat, two (2) eggs, biscuits with gravy or pancakes with syrup, one (1) serving of orange or grape juice, one half (1/2) pint of milk and one (1) serving of coffee. The vendor shall provide a different menu each day for the first three days then begin again with menu one on the fourth day. Meals shall be served in building 2833 of the Volunteer Training Site, 400 Industrial Boulevard, Tullahoma, TN 37388. Vendor shall have the food available no later than 6:00 AM local time each day and food shall remain available until 7:00 AM local time every day.
