Description
UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS SOURCES FOR LEASED OFFICE AND RELATED SPACE ATHENS, OH The United States Government is seeking to lease office and related space consisting of approximately 6,406 square feet of rentable space in Athens, OH. Rentable space must yield a minimum of 5,570 to a maximum of 5,849 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet, available for use by the Government for personnel, furnishings and equipment. On site parking is desired for 30 vehicles. The proposed lease is for 10 years firm. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than October 15, 2012. Offered properties must be within the city limits of Athens, OH. The leased space cannot be located within a designated 100 year floodplain. After an on-site survey by a Government representative, the area of consideration may be revised depending on a review of the overall mission of the Government agency to be housed in the space. The offered space must be fully serviced and altered to meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility Standards. Proposals from brokers or agents should be accompanied by evidence of their authorization to represent the ownership. Expressions of interest should include building name and address, or if new construction, the site location. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and should include the following information at minimum; ( This is not an invitation for bids or a request for proposals ): 1) Building name/address 2) Legal property description, recent survey, and property identification numbers (PIN) 3) Location of space in the building and date it will be available 4) One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered 5) ANSI/BOMA defined office area/useable square feet (USF) 6) Rentable Square Feet (RSF) offered 7) Name, address, telephone number, and email address of authorized contact 8) In cases where an agent is representing multiple ownership entities, written acknowledgement and permission to represent multiple owners for the same submission AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: GSA is using a tenant broker to represent the Government in lease negotiations for this transaction.
