- Description
- The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has a requirement for maintenance renewal of software licenses for a suite of software by Computer Application Services, Inc. (CASI). The suite of software (JES2FTP and RTP) provides reports generated on the mainframe and converts the business reports to PDF (Portable Document Format) which can be viewed by Windows users with ADOBE Acrobat Reader. OPM intends to issue a non-competitive award that will result in a contract to CASI, for a period of one year. CASI is the manufacturer of the software products and is the only known license vendor authorized to sell and provide maintenance for this suite of software. This requirement is conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Items. The authority for this award is FAR 13.106(b), soliciting from a single source; Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. All parties interested in this procurement must submit a capability statement within three calendar days from the date of this notice. Submissions after that date will not be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, any requests for the solicitation will not be considered. Interested parties wishing to submit their questions, interest, and capabilities must do so in writing via email. Oral and facsimile requests for information will not be considered. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is at the sole discretion of the Government. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required prior to execution of award. A detailed capability statement must be submitted to Sherón Spann at sheron.spann@opm.gov.
