Description
Contract will be required to provide the above name Laparoscopic Instruments and Instrument sets on a lease agreement. Instrumentation will be replaced by the contractor under this agreement will be responsible for all maintenance of the instrumentation and will provide replacements for instruments that are damaged or are unsuitable for patient use. The contractor will provide in-service training utilizing vendor practices and policies on use, care, and sterilization of all instrumentation. The contractor will retain ownership of instrumentation and instrument sterilization cases. The NAICS code is 3349112 with a size standard of 500 employees. The period of performance for this procurement will be for 36 months; base and two additional option years from time of award. Justification for this source procurement is in accordance with VAAR 873-104, FAR 6.302-1(b) (1) (i) and (4) and 38 USC 8153. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, if a firm believes it can meet these requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services, to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstration the ability to comply with the above requirement. If no valid responses are received, the North Texas Veteran Health Care System will proceed with the intended sole source contract.
