Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference number 256CBCSFURNITURE is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-51. Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20110419. This solicitation is set aside for small business; the associated NAICS code is 337211 and small business size standard is 500 employees. Information concerning FAR clauses can be obtained at http//farsite.hill.af.mil. The date, time and request for quote offers are due: 9:00 AM Pacific Time on 19 May 2011 to Matthew.Richard@us.af.mil and Jared.Olney@us.af.mil 509-247-7223/4 FAX 509-247-7225. Electronic offers preferred. All questions must be submitted in writing no later than 72 hours prior to bid close date. This requirement is for the purchase of: Office Furniture. See attached Statement of Work, drawings, specs, and QASP for further clarification. Installation: Winning contractor will be responsible for all installation and any electrical hookups/wiring associated with the furniture as well as field verifying location of outlets prior to installation and after contract award. Construction: Buildings that the furniture will be installed in are currently under construction. Anticipated completion is October/November timeframe. Contractor will need to be flexible for installation permitting completion of construction. Winning contractor will be responsible for holding all furniture until building is cleared to move in. Site Visit: A site visit will be conducted for this furniture acquisition. Since buildings are under construction this visit will be to review drawings and ask/answer any questions. Site visit will be conducted at 9:00 AM Pacific Tuesday May 10th 2011. Visit will be at Fairchild AFB in BLDG 399 Honor Guard Training Room. Please e-mail Matthew.Richard@us.af.mil and Jared.Olney@us.af.mil for confirmation of attendance by 1:00 PM Friday May 6th. Please include names of all attendees and if you require a voucher to gain access to the base. Samples: Please provide any pictures/colors and/or samples with all bids. Physical samples or web based samples are ok. If no sample is provided, contractor will be held non-responsive and bid will not be accepted. Delivery requirement: October or later depending on completion of construction. Contractor shall obtain written permission from the Contracting Officer prior to delivery and installation of furniture. FOB Destination to Fairchild AFB, WA. Exact address will be provided upon award. Due to buildings being under construction delivery requirement may change depending on completion of construction. Winning contractor will be responsible to hold furniture until construction is complete and installation can commence. Wage Determination: Applicable wage rates will apply to the installation portion of subsequent contract.
