Description
RFQ #DTPH56-11-Q-000011 This announcement is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; PHMSA is requesting quotes and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number DTPH56-11-Q-000011 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-48. The applicable NAICS code is 541330 and this requirement is set aside for small businesses. The Government intends to issue a Purchase Order in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The services to be acquired under this RFQ consist of a 3-day Pipeline Welding Inspection Course for the Office of Inspector Training and Qualification (TQ). Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and any amendments from FedBizOpps.Gov. The Government may award a contract without discussions if the Contracting Officer determines that the initial offer provides the Best Value and discussions are not necessary.
