- U.S. DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS DESIRES TO LEASE SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease sufficient rentable square footage to yield approximately (3900) usable square feet within the Congressional District, geographical area encompassing Downtown White Plains New York for use as a Veterans Outreach Clinic. The space will require at a minimum the following: White Plains Veterans Center Space Requirement: 3900 SF not to exceed 3900 SF "6 counselor offices 250 sq ft per office = 1500 sq ft "Team Leader office = 289 sq ft "OM's office = 350 sq ft "2 conference rooms = 700 sq ft "1 waiting room = 120 sq ft "2 bathrooms = 300 sq ft "1 kitchen = 100 sq ft "1 telephone closet = 30 sq ft "1 computer closet = 30 sq ft "1 storage room = 200 sq ft "Common area = 300 sq ft "10 designated parking spaces "Air conditioning and handicap compliant The space must meet or be able to meet the Department of Veterans Affairs Life Safety codes and other applicable regulations. A lease for five (5) years with an option to renew for an additional one (5) year option period will be considered. All commercial office space within the surrounding area of 300 Hamilton Avenue White Plains, NY will be considered. A market survey of the properties offered will be conducted by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
