Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a full and open basis three (3) 2.9 Mega Pixel High Speed Video Cameras. Technical Specifications may be found on FBO at http://www.fbo.gov as attachment (1). This high speed imagery is a complicated science which could require support after the date of sale; therefore, respondent shall indicate if service support is available after date of sale. Respondent shall provide contact name and phone number for such support with response within 48 hours of initial service call. Failure to respond to a service call within 48 hours would be detrimental to the program for which this product is used. Respondent shall also provide warranty information for replacement exchange, required within 72 hours and shall be at no cost to the government with express freight. The North America Industry Classification Code is 423410 and the small business size is 100 employees. The order shall be a firm fixed price purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS THE ITEM IS IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. FOB destination shall apply. Bidders who respond to this notice shall supply, as part of their quote/bid, the following: Quote, payment terms, delivery schedule (ARO), D&B#, CCR Status (www.bpn.gov), ORCA status (https://orca.bpn.gov/), and shall not be listed on the Suspended or Debarred Listing (EPLS) at time of award (www.epls.gov). Billing shall be made through the electronic Wide Area Workflow System (WAWF): https://wawf.eb.mil/ These items shall be shipped to: Receiving Officer, Naval Surface Warfare Center, 6620 Tisdale Road, Building 125, Dahlgren, VA 22448. Quotes and/or any questions should be forwarded to email address doritha.newman@navy.mil, or faxed to (540) 653-0592, Attention Code CXS10-S4; or telephone (540) 653-7078, reference number N00178-11-Q-4564. The closing date of this synopsis is 12 May 2011. Anticipated award is 13 May 2011. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/ /SUPPLY. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
