- Item Description: NSN ITEM NAME UI QFD CAGE & P/N GOVT REQ DELIVERY 2815-00-005-7629 Cylinder Sleeve and Piston Assembly EA 1251 (15434) 3804439 (0B0B1) 226-1747 86 The solicitation is being reopened to change the approved source of supply from Cage Code (77220) to (0B0B1) P/N 226-1747. Description: This indefinite quantity contract (IQC) solicitation is for the procurement of a code and part numbered item supplied by two different manufacturers. The solicitation will be unrestricted with other than full & open competition. The solicitation will allow offerors to provide a separate unit price for the base year and each option year. Offerors are given the opportunity to submit pricing based on quantity break ranges. Based on market research this item is a commercial item and will be solicited using FAR Part 12. Item will be shipped to various locations within conus. FOB destination and inspection at destination is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 02 May 2011. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and surge and sustainment One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years.
