Description

Department of Veterans Affairs VA MidSouth Healthcare Network (VISN 9) Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Mt. Home, P.O. Box 4000, Sidney and Lamont Street, Mt. Home, TN 37684, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Alliant Health Products, LLC. of Richland, Michigan, for the purchase of high definition surgical viewing monitor, transmitter, rolling stand and camera head. The NAICS code for these supplies is 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with a size standard of 500 Employees. The Government believes that Alliant Healthcare Products, LLC, is the only authorized provider for Stock No. 0240-030-970 26" Wireless Vision Elect HD TV Surgical Monitor; Stock No. 0240-030-971 WHDTV Wireless Transmitter; Stock No. 0240-099-110k Flat Panel Roll Stand Kit; Stock No. 1288-210-105 1288HD Camera Head, that is compatible with their current equipment in order to properly sterilize scopes and other related equipment. This is a sole source procurement utilizing, 38 U.S.C. 8153 and Other than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes, however; any firm that believes it can provide these supplies may give written notification to the Contract Specialist, no later than 9:00 AM CST, May, 6, 2011. Supporting evidence of ability to provide these supplies must be furnished in sufficient detail, to the Contract Specialist Karen Webster via email address: karen.webster@va.gov or faxed to (615)225-5431. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VA will proceed with the sole source negotiation to Alliant Healthcare Producst, LLC. for the required high definition surgical viewing monitor, transmitter, rolling stand and camera head.
