- MEMORANDUM TO ALL OFFERORS:29 Apr 2011 1. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Lakewood, CO, have a requirement for a commercial item. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number F11PX02878. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-51 (Effective 01 Apr 2011). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 339999. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The SBA Size Standard is 500 employees. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. 2. FWS' salient characteristics that will satisfy the Government's needs for this requirement are: Advanced Telemetry Systems (ATS) Avian Transmitters brand name or equal Avian model A2810, Quantity 300 each, used on Mallard ducks, which meets the following specifications: - Emit a consistent signal of 30 ppm for a minimum of 79 days on a molting drake mallard- Each transmitter must have a unique frequency for individual identification (Frequencies listed below) -- Transmitters are attached with glue-on mounts- Transmitters should weigh approximately 4-6 grams- Transmitters will be deployed the end of June; Delivery is required by the third week in June, 2011 FIRMS SUBMITTING OR EQUAL ITEMS MUST SUBMITT MANUFACTURERS DATA SHOWING THE SPECIFICATIONS OF THE TRANSMITTERS AND CLEARLY IDENTIFY THEY MEET THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS LISTED ABOVE.
